| The Cordelia Firefighters’ Association Hosts a County Supervisor Candidates Forum The Cordelia Firefighters’ Association, serving Green Valley and parts of Cordelia, is sponsoring a County Supervisor Candidates Forum, Thursday April 24, at 7:00pm, at The Cordelia Fire Hall, 2155 Cordelia Road (707-864-0468). Candidates running for the District 2 County Supervisor seat in the June 3rd election have been invited to field questions relating to the most pressing issues of the day affecting Cordelia Fire District's prospects for the future. All other candidates and sitting Supervisors have been invited for comment and will be available to respond to any questions from the audience. Our Fire District’s position is that the distribution of county funds for the Cordelia Fire District needs revision. The Cordelia Firefighter’s Association’s intent is to bring these funding issues to light in hopes of gaining support for the Fire District - both from the public and the supervisors - for an equitable remedy to this long ignored situation.
