ORDINANCE OF THE CORDELIA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ESTABLISHING FEES FOR
PERMITS AND SERVICES
The Board of Directors of the Cordelia Fire Protection District hereby ordains as follows:
Section 1.                Authority
Pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 13916, the Cordelia Fire Protection
District is authorized to charge fees to cover the cost of any services that the District
provides, or the cost of enforcing any regulation for which the fee is charged.
The District is further authorized to issue permits required by Article 1, Section 105 of the
California Fire Code to maintain, store, use or handle materials or to conduct processes
which produce conditions hazardous to life or property, or to install equipment used in
connection with such activities.
This schedule of fees for permits and services is established to cover the cost to the
District for enforcing the regulation or providing the service.

Section 2.                Standard for Setting Fees
Fees shall not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of enforcing the regulation or
providing the service for which the fee is charged.  The fees will be based on a minimum
charge of ½ hour.

The schedule of fees will be in accordance with the current District Resolution proscribing
appropriate charges for the following:


Section 4.                Outside Technical Support
Applicants are responsible for securing outside technical support for projects beyond the
scope and experience of the Cordelia Fire Protection District.
